The Reconnecting Youth Program (a school-based program targeting 9th through 12th-grade students who are at risk for dropping out of school, substance abuse, and suicidal behavior) is described as an illustration of an indicated prevention strategy. This home-study course aides the counselor in the understanding of an indicated program model of prevention of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. |
